Minding your own business when
Chronically ill people are the most hardcore people I’ve ever known
Like we spend all day everyday in pain but we still get up and do things while your healthy ungrateful self says you can’t go outside because you have the sniffles
if the only time you tell a chronically ill person that you’re proud of them is when they’re pushing their bodies to live up to the capitalist standard of production, you really need to check your ableist perspective.
we are valuable, important, & worthy of praise—whether we are in school/employed, or not. our existence is enough.
